“ Pretty damn busy for just a couple bartenders but nice atmosphere and priced decently. Lots of pool tables. Depending on the night you'll be waiting a bit for a table. Pretty diverse types of people, it's refreshing for spokane. ”
“ I had no idea such delicious food was hidden inside an unassuming billiard hall. The setup inside is cool yet classy. It was difficult narrowing down what we wanted to eat as everything looked delectable. We decided to try three of their craft burgers (Black Diamond Burger, Turducken Burger and Buffalo Duck Burger). All of the burgers were scrumptious in their own, unique way. Who would have thought to put stuffing on a burger or that you'd find a buffalo/duck burger in Spokane but surprisingly it all worked together in a tastefully appealing way! Even though all of the burgers tasted wonderful, our favorite was The Black Diamond Burger. I've been on a personal hunt to find the best craft burger in the Spokane and CDA area. It is definitely a must try burger! The Black Diamond Burger is exquisite in its simplicity. You can taste the difference in all of the food because they use high quality, fresh, local ingredients which make all the difference. Our family loves sauces and even their sauces are made from scratch. I appreciate that this establishment uses local ingredients as much as possible to support local businesses. The spinach artichoke dip croquettes and onion rings are a must try as well. You can tell that thought, passion, creativity, effort and talent are put into each dish on their menu. The service was great as well. We look forward to trying The Black Diamond again when we are in the Spokane Valley. ”
“ Showed up with a large group and even though we overwhelmed the staff we had a great time! Service took a little while but that was due to the amount of people in our group. Beer was cold and food was great! Will definitely be coming back. It's great to support local patriotic businesses. Thank you for having us! ”
“ their food is very good. I've loved everything I've tried so far. I LOVE their huckleberry Moscow mule. They have been super busy every time we've been there, so service can be kind of slow, but that just means you can take your time and enjoy. The servers are very nice and helpful. I haven't used their pool tables, but they have a lot of them, so it seems like anyone who likes playing pool would be at home. ”
“ We are so happy to have tried Black Diamond! Don’t let the neighboring businesses bother you; everyone is so nice and welcoming. We ordered two kids’ meals and three adult entrees plus beer. EVERY ONE WAS DELICIOUS! Good service—important. Wi-fi: bonus. Kids and parents and Grandma all happy. Try it! “ One of the best pool halls in Washington state. If you are ever in the Spokane area, it is a must stop. It's at 9614 Sprague Ave. They have many Diamond tables, and are well maintained. The table we played on had consistent rails/bumpers, clean cloth, and was well lit. They have full bar and grill, with classic good food. I had a burger and onion rings that were excellent. The staff are very friendly. Staff were proactive in asking to help, and checking in to determine satisfaction. Also, if you're looking for lessons, Damian Pongpanik is the house pro. His has a very strong game, and has competed at top venues both regional and national, as well as on live events such as FNL Productions (Friday Night Lights Productions). Additionally, he is the founder of Jam Up Apparel. The have both leagues and tournaments. The feel is an upscale sports pool hall, and very clean. They have WiFi, large video screen, clean spacious bathrooms, night club with live music, and more. A diverse set of people and players frequent The Black Diamond. Some of the top players in WA frequent The Black Diamond. The weekends are always lively, and table time prices are very affordable. It is also family friendly. Expect satisfaction, and good memories. ”
“ Lots of great eats on the new menu inspired by Chef Larry. I promise this is a spot you’ll want to add to your must visit list ASAP. Each dish is intentionally crafted using fresh, local ingredients whenever possible. The flavors were outstanding and there’s something for everyone- from the vegan cauliflower ceviche to the kangaroo burger. Plus drink specials like Micro Mondays and Whiskey Wednesdays. We’ll be back soon! ”
“ My daughter and I stopped by Storming Normans and was not greeted nor served by a bartend who after talking to her regulars walked outside to smoke. Disappointed we left. We went to the Black Diamond and the bar tender greeted us and explained the happy hours and free pool. We ordered fried avocado tacos and onion rings! The food was great, the bartender came often to check on us, she was quick to clean the table and floor when a couple left. We had a wonderful time and definitely will go back again! ”
